‘Yassine El Karyani’ bio:
Graduated from IIHEM with a bachelor’s in MIS. During his 4 years at IIHEM, he had joined different associations: Discovery, Sports, Theater and Cinema, etc.
Thanks to that spirit involvement, El Karyani is now the vice chairman of MAROC, New Jersey’s largest Moroccan association in New Jersey. He serves his city’s government at the Chairman of the Advisors on Community Relations, and he is an elected member of the Democratic Party’s County Committee in Bergen County.
Professionally, he moved to the USA in July 2007 to work as a computer technician in addition to freelancing. His IT career has expanded especially after he obtained an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2009 and then his PMP certification. Today, El Karyani provides IT services mainly to the coworking/shared-office industry.
Successes aside, El Karyani had his shares of unsuccessful business ventures. El Karyani recently founded Elk and Co., a partnership helping American families and small businesses with financial planning, career coaching, and other business services. He hopes this one will be on the success column not the failure one.
El Karyani’s favorite meal is tajine of lamb with quinces الغنمي بالسفرجل.
