Semester Abroad Program:
- Allows IIHEM undergraduates to spend a semester, extensible to a year, at JWU.

- Allows undergraduate students to start their studies at IIHEM and complete their Bachelor's degree at JWU. Credits earned at IIHEM are transferred to JWU.

Prospective students are responsible for getting the visa appointment and obtaining the visa from the embassy. The university will issue an i-20 after proper documentation is provided.
After graduation from JWU, students may be eligible to work for twelve months under the government Optional Practical Training (OPT) program. JWU does not guarantee employment in the US after graduation, but has services, faculty, and staff in place to assist students in crafting a competitive employment profile.
- Student submits an application to the IIHEM Director of International Programs (DoIP),
- Once the application is deemed receivable by IIHEM, student meets with the DoIP to discuss and receive approval of your program of study at JWU,
- Student submits application to JWU with IIHEM endorsement,
- Detailed steps are provided and regular communication follow-up from JWU's admissions team ensues to ensure that all proper documentation is provided,
- JWU informs IIHEM and the student of the admissions decision,
- On admission, the student pays a $500 acceptance fee, confirming his acceptance of admission and his intent to enroll,
- Upon reception of acceptance fee, JWU prepares the visa documents for candidates,
- For visa JWU will issue an i-20 after proper documentation is provided,,
- Candidates go to local USA embassy to apply long term study visa,
- Candidates receive the visa and plan their trip!
